TNA Xplosion: Air Date 6th August 2014

This episode of Xplosion was okay.

Really, I'm struggling to find enough words to talk about it. What can I say that I haven't said before?

JB and Rockstar Spud presenting was amusing, but then it always is.

The Xplosion Xclusive was bland.

Yep. A match between a pair of tanned dude-bros, and a bloke in a sparkly waistcoat with a masked strong-man was bland.

I spent the whole match wondering which of the jobber teams would end up jobbing this week.

The BroMans, if you're wondering.

Which suggests that Knux and the Freak are the effective ones and Crazzy Steve is their weak link.

And the interviews were fine.

After all, they were fine on Impact. Why wouldn't they be fine here?

And the Match of the Week was good. Don't get me wrong.

There's nothing like an Ultimate X match.

And Zema Ion and Kenny King are still in the company, so I can't complain about that.

And yet. You know who hasn't won a match in an age? DJ Z.

And you know who loses every match he's in? Kenny King.

And that doesn't work.

I'm sick of seeing the same problems playing out over and over again. TNA, I know you can do better than this.

Ah well. At least boring is better than outrageously offensive.

Let me leave you on a happy note: Austin Aries' Last Chancery is still the most beautiful submission move I've seen.

I'll be back tomorrow with my final Impact catch-up.
