TNA Xplosion: Air Date 1st October 2014

There's a problem in the X Division.

And you know what it is?

I've said before that if you know who's going to win, there's no tension.

It can still be enjoyable for the athleticism.

But like any competition, a wrestling match loses something when you already know the outcome.

And right now, you can practically make a flowchart to determine who will win any given X Division match.

Is Samoa Joe in the match? He'll win.

No? Then Homicide or Low Ki.

Neither of them are in it? Then Crazzy Steve will lose.

So what happened in our Xplosion Xclusive?

DJ Z wrestled Low Ki; Low Ki won. Just like the flowchart said he would.

I should not be wishing for James Storm to kidnap DJ Z just so he can win now and then. That is not how the plot with the cult should be working.

So please, TNA, give me an upset victory. Have Crazzy Steve pin Samoa Joe in a non-title match. Have DJ Z pin Homicide by using the ropes. Have Rockstar Spud beat Low Ki.

I don't care what. Just give me something different.

Ah well. At least Bobby Roode challenging Kurt Angle for the Heavyweight Championship was fun.

Even if it was weird to see Roode with long hair again. And hearing the Beer Money entrance music made me nostalgic as heck.

Xplosion hasn't lost me, but this week was more of a dud than a success.

But there's always next week.
